Ultrasound training videos may be found on the Ultrasound Rotation page.

1. Order the “ED POC US”

2. Perform the ultrasound exam

3. Take a still image and record an interpretation

4. Hit “End Exam” on the screen

5. Document a “US” procedure note in the ED Physician Note

The ultrasound machines have designated areas. Do not remove ultrasounds from their designated locations, and please leave them clean and plugged in.

• US1 = Triage Room 4

• US2 = Pod 2

• US3 = Pod 3

• US4 = Pod 4

• US5 = Resus Bay

• US6 = Pod 3
